Tysa Cognac 0.5 L (42%) — is a noble Ukrainian brandy with a rich character and refined taste, produced at the Uzhgorod Cognac Plant (UKZ) — one of the leading cognac producers in Ukraine. A six-year aging in oak barrels gives the drink a deep amber color with golden highlights, a delicate aroma, and a harmonious flavor.
The taste of Tysa Cognac is smooth, with subtle sweetness and light notes of dried fruits, harmoniously combined with warm hints of vanilla, chocolate, and raisins. Its aroma opens with pleasant fruity and spicy accents, creating a balanced and rich bouquet. This drink reflects the traditions of Transcarpathia and the craftsmanship of local distillers, conveying the elegance and sophistication of Ukrainian brandy.
The Uzhgorod Cognac Plant is among the top three largest cognac producers in Ukraine. Here, legendary aged cognacs of Transcarpathia were created — «Tysa», «Uzhgorod», «Karpaty», as well as popular ordinary varieties — «Tri Zirochky», «Pyat Zirochok», «Zakarpatskyi», «Nevytsky Zamok» and «Beskydy». The plant’s history began in 1959 in the village of Velyki Lazy, where the first oak barrels with spirits were laid. The first cognac, «Tri Zirochky», was released in 1962, and in 1977 the enterprise received its current name — Uzhgorod Cognac Plant.
Serving recommendations: Tysa Cognac is best enjoyed at room temperature in a snifter glass, which allows its full aromatic bouquet to unfold. It pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, hard cheeses, or ripe fruits. This is a drink for true connoisseurs, emphasizing the nobility, refinement, and traditions of Transcarpathian brandy.
