Brandy "Uzhhorod" is a legendary Ukrainian vintage cognac (brandy) of the highest quality of the "KS" category (Cognac Stary), which has been produced at the famous Uzhhorod Cognac Plant (UKZ) since 1984. The drink is a real business card of Transcarpathia and is considered one of the best examples of Ukrainian cognac art.
The Uzhhorod Cognac Plant (operating under the "Tysa" trademark) traces its history back to 1959. In addition to the flagship "Uzhhorod", the plant produces other well-known vintage brands, such as "Tysa" (6 years of aging) and "Karpaty" (8 years of aging), as well as popular ordinary cognacs ("Transcarpathian", "Nevytskyi Castle").
The taste of Uzhhorod Brandy is full-bodied and smooth, with an oily texture and notes of dried fruits, raisins, marmalade, and delicate spicy nuances. The aroma is rich and complex, with hints of nuts, dried fruits, vanilla, chocolate, and Eastern spices, creating a harmonious and elegant bouquet. This drink perfectly reflects the traditions of Zakarpattia and the craftsmanship of local distillers, conveying the sophistication of Ukrainian brandy.
Serving recommendations: Uzhhorod Brandy is best enjoyed at room temperature in a snifter glass, which allows its aromatic bouquet to fully unfold. The drink pairs excellently with dark chocolate, ripe fruits, or hard cheeses. It is the choice for true connoisseurs who appreciate the nobility, harmony, and traditions of Zakarpattia brandy.
